1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of tranzission.com and any Tranzission website, customer workspace, learning feature, course, class, recording, assessment, digital or printed publication, event, subscription, support channel or professional tool that links to them (together, the “Services”). In these Terms, “Tranzission”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Tranzission business identified on your invoice or order confirmation.
By accessing the Services, creating an account, placing an order or using a product, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Product descriptions, prices, validity periods, attempt limits, schedules and other conditions shown on the relevant product page or order confirmation also form part of your agreement with us. If a product-specific term conflicts with these general Terms, the product-specific term will apply to that product.
If you purchase for an organisation or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the intended user will comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access, purchase or use the Services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract. The Services are intended for adults and professional learners. A person under 18 may use them only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian and where the relevant product permits.
Provide complete and accurate registration, billing and delivery information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping sign-in credentials confidential. Notify us promptly through the support page if you suspect unauthorised access. We may request reasonable verification before changing an account, providing access or discussing an order.
3. Orders, prices and payment
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we issue an order confirmation, activate access or dispatch the product, whichever occurs first. We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance if a product is unavailable, a price or description contains a material error, payment is not authorised, required information is missing, or the order appears fraudulent or contrary to law. If we cancel after receiving payment, we will refund the amount received for the cancelled item.
Prices, taxes, discounts and delivery charges are those displayed at checkout or in an agreed quotation. Unless stated otherwise, payment is due in full before dispatch or access. Payment may be processed by a third-party provider under its own terms. You remain responsible for any bank, card, foreign-exchange or connectivity charges imposed by others.
Promotional codes and offers are subject to their stated period, eligibility and product limits; have no cash value; and cannot be combined unless expressly allowed. We may correct an obvious pricing or typographical error before accepting an order.
4. Printed books and physical products
In-stock printed books and other physical products are normally dispatched within 2 working days after successful payment and receipt of complete delivery details. This is a dispatch estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. “Working day” means Monday to Friday, excluding public and bank holidays observed at the place from which we fulfil the order.
Dispatch may take longer because of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our reasonable control, including stock or printing disruption, severe weather, transport interruption, public restrictions, strikes, technical failure or an incorrect or incomplete address. We will take reasonable steps to inform you of a material delay and fulfil the order as soon as reasonably practicable.
Delivery time after dispatch depends on the destination and carrier. Tracking will be shared when available. You are responsible for providing a complete serviceable address and for checking the parcel promptly. If a parcel is returned because the address was incorrect, delivery was refused or reasonable delivery attempts failed, we may charge the actual cost of re-dispatch. Please report a missing, damaged, defective or incorrect item promptly with the order number and reasonable supporting photographs so that we can investigate with the carrier.
Minor differences in colour, cover finish or other production details that do not materially affect the content or use of a publication are not defects. Risk and title pass as provided by applicable law; nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Courses, examinations and digital access
Access to a paid course or online examination is normally enabled within 1 working day after successful payment and receipt of the information reasonably required to create or match your account. Digital publications, recordings, subscriptions and tools are normally delivered or activated within the time stated on the product page or order confirmation and, where no time is stated, within 1 working day. Check your spam folder and customer workspace before contacting support.
Access is personal, limited, non-transferable and only for the access period, number of devices, downloads or attempts stated for the product. An access period may begin on purchase, activation, first use, the scheduled batch date or another date expressly shown on the product page. Unless a product specifically says otherwise, unused access, missed classes and unattempted examinations do not extend the validity period.
Schedules, faculty, sequencing, venues and delivery platforms may change where reasonably necessary. We may reschedule a session, provide an equivalent faculty member, recording or alternative delivery arrangement, or take other reasonable steps without reducing the product’s overall substance. Live-session recordings may not include every interaction and are available only when stated.
You need a compatible device, current browser, reliable internet connection and the ability to receive service communications. We do not control your device, network, email provider or a third-party platform, but we will use reasonable efforts to address a fault within the Services that you report.
6. Examinations, assessments and results
Practice tests, mock examinations, question banks and results are learning aids. They are not official examinations and do not guarantee admission, qualification, certification, employment or any particular result in an examination conducted by a regulator, institute or other third party.
You must follow the stated assessment rules and must not copy, photograph, record, scrape, circulate, sell, publish or help another person reconstruct questions or answers. Attempts, timing, review access, scoring and validity are governed by the relevant product description. We may investigate irregular activity and, where reasonably justified, suspend an attempt or access while doing so.
Results may be affected by answers submitted, time limits, connectivity and the assessment configuration. Report a suspected scoring or technical error promptly. Our review will address platform and content administration only and does not create a right to challenge the rules or results of any independent official examination.
7. Information and educational-purpose disclaimer
All articles, case summaries, alerts, courses, publications, templates, questions, answers, tools and other material made available through the Services are provided for general information, education and professional-development purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice and do not create a professional-client, fiduciary or advisory relationship.
Laws, regulations, examination syllabi, official guidance and judicial or regulatory interpretations can change, and content may not reflect the latest development at the time you use it. Although we take reasonable care in preparing and updating material, we do not represent that it is complete, error-free, current or suitable for your particular facts. References to third-party websites, regulators or decisions are provided for convenience and do not amount to endorsement or control of those sources.
You are responsible for verifying important information against current primary or official sources and for obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified professional before acting or refraining from acting. You remain responsible for your decisions, filings, submissions, examination preparation and professional work. To the extent permitted by law, Tranzission is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on informational or educational material without appropriate independent verification.
8. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the Services for your own lawful learning and professional reference within the rights attached to the product. You must not:
- share, resell, sublicense or transfer your account, access link, recording, download, assessment attempt or subscription;
- copy, republish, upload, transmit or commercially exploit a material part of the Services except with our written permission or as permitted by law;
- record a live session, remove a copyright notice or bypass a download, device, time, access or security control;
- scrape, crawl, data-mine, reverse engineer, probe or interfere with the Services, or use their content to train or build a competing dataset, model, course, publication, question bank or service;
- introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate another person or use the Services for fraud, harassment or unlawful activity; or
- upload confidential or third-party material unless you have the authority and rights needed to do so.
Reasonable quotation or use allowed by applicable law is not prohibited, but ownership and source notices must be retained. Contact us if you need classroom, team, library, institutional or republication rights.
9. Intellectual property
The Services and their original text, design, branding, software, recordings, teaching material, compilations, illustrations and assessment content are owned by or licensed to Tranzission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a product gives you only the limited right to use it under these Terms; ownership of the underlying intellectual property does not transfer.
If you submit a review, testimonial, question, comment or other content for publication, you retain any rights you have in it and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, edit for clarity or format, and display it for operating and promoting the Services. We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Do not submit material you do not have the right to share.
10. Third-party services and links
We may use or link to third-party payment, video, learning, messaging, analytics, cloud or delivery services. Their availability and separate terms may apply when you interact with them. We are not responsible for the content, security or independent acts of a third-party service that we do not control, but this does not affect our responsibility for selecting and using providers with reasonable care where required.
11. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Eligibility for cancellation, replacement, return or refund depends on the product type, whether physical goods have been dispatched, whether digital access or downloads have been supplied, whether a live programme has begun, and any specific terms disclosed before purchase. The applicable rules are set out in our Refund Policy and the relevant product page.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy limits a refund, replacement or other remedy required under applicable consumer law. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method unless law or the payment provider requires another method. Bank or provider processing time is outside our direct control.
12. Suspension and termination
We may temporarily restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, investigate suspected misuse or non-payment, comply with law, perform maintenance or address a security incident. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
We may terminate access for a material or repeated breach, including credential sharing, piracy, assessment misconduct, fraud or an attempt to compromise the Services. A user whose access is terminated for their breach is not entitled to a refund merely because access was terminated. Terms concerning payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, disputes and other provisions intended by their nature to survive will continue.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep digital Services reasonably available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance, urgent security work, internet or cloud-provider disruption and events outside reasonable control may cause downtime. We may improve, replace or discontinue a feature or product. If a change materially reduces a paid product during its stated access period, we will provide a reasonable alternative or remedy as required by law.
14. Responsibility and limitation of liability
We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Except for express promises in these Terms or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis and implied warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tranzission is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated saving; or loss caused by your device, internet connection, misuse of the Services, failure to follow instructions, or reliance on educational content without appropriate verification.
Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, our aggregate liability arising from a particular paid product will not exceed the amount you paid to Tranzission for that product in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a non-excludable statutory obligation, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
15. Events beyond reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, labour disruption, transport or utility failure, or widespread telecommunications, hosting or payment-network failure. Payment obligations already due are not excused. The affected party must take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and resume performance. If the event materially prevents delivery for an extended period, the parties retain any cancellation or refund rights available under applicable law.
16. Complaints, governing law and disputes
Please raise an order, access or content concern through our support page, quoting the order number and relevant details. We will try to resolve it fairly and within a reasonable time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or jurisdiction available under applicable law, the courts with jurisdiction over the Tranzission business address stated on your invoice will have jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking an urgent interim remedy from a court of competent jurisdiction.
17. General terms
If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement or access without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the relevant business, provided this does not reduce your statutory rights.
These Terms, the applicable product description, order confirmation, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy form the agreement concerning the Services. They do not create a partnership, agency, employment or fiduciary relationship. Headings are for convenience only.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, business practices or law. The revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes will apply prospectively. If a change materially affects an active paid Service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and will not remove rights already accrued or rights protected by law.
